9th June
Well this is as far west as we go, for the moment ,tomorrow we start heading north. The trip from Broken Hill was not difficult but wet and windy. We stopped overnight at Peterborough and met a couple who were into the 6th year of their 10 year trip!!! don't know if we can match this, we will let you know after the first year!
Port Augusta has had mixed weather, overcast drizzle and certainly not hot. but the day we chose to do our washing was ok the sun came out long enough to dry the clothes, mind you there was a slight glitch with the water supply. A happy caravanner backed into a tap and cut off all water in the park half way through the wash cycle. We did anticipate revisiting the arid gardens today (saturday) but the weather was not conducive.
Tomorrow we leave for Glendambo, overnight then on to Coober Pedy where we might spend two days.
We are both well except for two wonky knees (one each) but not enough to stop us enjoying the trip.
Photo was taken this morning on the PA wharf top of the Spencer Gulf.
