Sunday 10th
Good drive from PA to Glendambo, four hours (284km) of flat terrain covered in 200mm high saltbush, the road was good very little traffic. At last the sun shone and by the time we stopped at Lake Hart (about 30km past Woomera) all the flies in SA homed in on our morning tea! We had forgotten just how many flies there are in the outback.
Arrived at Glendambo (Road house) about 1pm only to find that there is a 4wd comp taking place here so the park is full of campers and grime covered 4wd's and the only drinking water is from rain tanks. Fortunately we do have a power site
It might seem too long a time driving for the distance covered but we are only travelling at about 80/85kmph as we found this to be the most economical speed fuel wise, which is important as we have just paid $1.60 per litre at Woomera.
Relaxing this afternoon after a glass of wine with lunch. Telstra 3g is at full strength hence our able to update the Blog.

Keep the flies but do send us the rain. Sounds very restful. Holiday here today. Keep safe. M
